I blinked again and the weekend is over!!
We had a great weekend! On Saturday my mom took her and I to get our hair done!!! My roots needed some color sooooo bad! We have a crazy hairdresser but she does a fabulous job! But it comes with a price..........an earful FULL. =) But at least it's an interesting earful.
Then mom and I headed to Stein Mart (whoo hoo!) and checked out their big sale they were having. I LOVE Stein Mart, and my mom got me the cutest outfit! She also got herself a cute little sweater and shirt! It was so nice to spend some time with my mom and be away from the girly's! We don't get to do it very often since she's moved to Asheville.
Then we came home and my dad was here to celebrate Father's day, a day early since my mom had to head back up to Asheville on Sunday. We cooked a yummy pork tenderloin on the grill had pasta salad, watermelon and corn on the cob. It was a good dinner! Then we watched the girl's play in their new slip in slide which they had a blast doing!!
I got my dad one of these for Father's day:
He's really into "gadgets" and loves anything that has some "technical purpose".
My dad was and is a great dad and popa! He taught me so much about respect and God and my girls and I love him! And so does Kris. =)He's so good about taking the girl's to do fun stuff while he's out of school. (he's a teacher) In fact tomorrow they are all going to see Kung Fu Panda with him! Which they are SOOOO excited about!
Then on Sunday the girls were so excited to wish their daddy a Happy Father's day! And Kennedy was so funny. She thinks anytime there is cake and present involved......it's a birthday! She kept asking me, "You get candles?" and she finally mastered saying, "Happy Father's DAY". She was originally just saying, "Happy Father's!"....to everyone none the less. =)
Kris is such a great dad to the girls and they enjoyed giving their "thanks" to him!! They made him some sweet cards and got him some new shorts! He needed them!! They were so thoughtful with their cards and they know that their daddy is a very hard worker to provide for our family!
We went after church to Kris's fav Chinese place and ate came home and took some quick naps and headed over to his mom and dad's house. We ate so much it was crazy!! But it was good! Kris also got to spend some time with his cousin that he rarely gets to see so that was good for him!
But I feel like it's all been a blur! Time is just flying by.
Today we are TRYING to master the potty again with the Kennyboo. This is so hard with the third child!!! But I'm tired of buying this boo diapers and her telling me to change her!! So cross your fingers and say a prayer maybe we will have no more diapers this week!!
So how was your weekend? Did you do anything different or fun??
Well, I'd better go. Kennedy just informed me that she's due for a "prize" she just peed on the potty!! She said, "Mommy!!! I DO IT!! Where my candy??"
Have a blessed day!

Glad that you had a good weekend. It was so good to be back in church yesterday. (after being away for several weeks with vacations). I will be praying for that little girly to master the potty this week. Remember that it one of the few things that she has total control over....and she will use it to her advantage. :)
hey girl - what is the gadget??? i am not techy so i don't know.
glad you had a great weekend and some "prizes" too!!! love, Leigh
What fun! Was that your new outfit you had on yesterday? If so, it was adorable and I loved it!
Glad you had a great weekend with your fam!
Hello!
Nice to "meet" you. Thanks for sharing your hope with me regarding my daughter.
I can't wait to meet you this weekend in person.
Blessings!
Lelia
P.S. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!
Well, sounds like things are going great!
Glad ya'll had a great Fathers day and that you got to spend some time with your Mom.
We had a great weekend with Mom and Dad. We did some shopping and tubbing...it was all very relaxing after the conference.
Something big should be coming up for you real soon right?
Praying for you!
The weekends seem to go by ENTIRELY too quickly, don't they? I am glad that you got to spend some time with your Mom. Sounds like ya'll had a great time! Good luck on the potty training. Keep those prizes comin'!
Emilie
Potty training is so much fun! She will get it down. She will have little accidents, as you know from the others, but these will be 'her' little accidents. She's growing up and before you know it, boom, she will have it down. I look forward to hearing about your conference. Have a great week!
