Weekend

Isn't that a creative title?

Before I get to this post, please stop over to my sweet friend Cindy , she needs some extra prayers and support this week!! Bless her heart, they have been through so much. I'm praying my friend, always.

This past weekend we headed up to Asheville to visit my mom and dad. It's was a lot of fun and always good to get outta town! ;)

The weather was perfect and it was good to breathe in some mountain air! I wish I would've taken some pictures but my mom's yard is so pretty right now. She's got tons of blooms everywhere and hundreds of wildflowers.

On Sunday since my parents have season passes and the girls were free, we went back to the Biltmore Estate. We went during Christmas which was awesome but it was just as cool this time too. Plus everything was soooo pretty.

Kennedy was in a pretty horrible mood the majority of the time but I think it's because she just had surgery on Wednesday to have her tubes put back in and her adenoids taken out. So she's been having really bad headaches and needless to say she's not the easiest child to soothe. ;) But then she just wouldn't be the Kennyboo! (sighs) Somedays I wonder if we will survive until that beloved age of 5. You know....when they start acting "normal". hee hee. ;)

Here's our little fam in front of the Biltmore. Look at those blue skies!!

Here is my mom and dad and the girls on the great cool back porch (and the only place "inside" you can take pictures).

This time we also took the girls down to the farm which was fun! I realized that Kennedy had never really been around animals much since she was a baby, so this was an experience for her! Here's Taylor (and Taylor's tags hanging out of her shirt......ugh, the ocd in me can't stand it!!) talking to the horse. He was very friendly!

And this idea I just HAD to share!! It's sooo cute. It's a bunch of pots put together to make a "person". The top part you can switch out seasonally with different flowers! I totally plan on giving this one a try in the fall at our new house. The girls loved it and so did I! And it looks sooo easy.

Well that's about it! It's a busy week for us. I'm helping my friend out by keeping her sweet little girls some this summer so we've got big plans of Carowinds, Discovery place and hopefully a movie!
How was your weekend? I hope good!

Dad and I had a great time Nicki! You forgot to talk about the snake that Taylor and Hope touched. I think that was definately a first. Love Mom

That photo with your folks...the girls look so cute - and Kennedy looks mighty sassy for a girlie in a bad mood :)

I love Biltmore House! We went there on our honeymoon and have been back several times. I never get tired of seeing it and wondering how two people and a child ever found each other in that house!
