A Thankful Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you my bloggy readers!

I am so thankful for so much this awesome day. We are in Asheville at my mom's house and it's very chilly, but no snow. We were hopeful! =)

This year has been a rough year for our family. We have been through so much and have so much to be thankful for.

I am.....thankful for:

My amazing God.

My wonderful husband.

My sweeter than sweet girly's.

My parents and in-law's

My brother and his new wife and baby

My home, no matter how much I grumble about it, I AM thankful!

My husband's job and my new job

My many friends that bless me daily.

For a healthy girly!

For peace and acceptance and forgiveness in my heart.

For a great church and church family.

That last night my mom and dad kept the girls so Kris and I could finally have a date!! It's been SIX months! TOOOOO long. We saw Fireproof! It was awesome!!!

And you know what I'm the most thankful for this year???.........

That each day is a new day! Each day is a fresh start and a new chance to make a difference in people's lives.

I love all of you so much. I have been so blessed by my blog friends!! I would've never thought that what started out as a journal processes would turn into such a blessing. Please know how much each of you mean to me and your comments, e-mails and words of affirmation in my life!!

You totally bless this girl!!

Ok, well I must get going....there is lot's of things to be peeled today!! Ugh. =) Have a blessed Thanksgiving and I'll be back on Monday with lot's of fun pictures for you! We had ourselves a SERIOUS gingerbread house competition! And guess who won??? hee hee!! =)

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who only gets to go on a date once or twice a year!! So obviously you don't live close to either parents, eh? Yeah, that sucks. But it makes those rare date nights so incredible, doesn't it?

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

What a lovely Thanksgiving for you and yours. Know that you and your blog made it on my short list of things I thank God for.

Delight yourself in Him. Have a wonderful Christmas season. He is alive and He is the reason for it all.
