This and That....

I've got a horrible cold, or allergies, or both, I'm not sure. It's been a pretty miserable two days. Oh how I wish I could just climb into bed and stay there until this thing passes me, but only in my dreams.......

I'm really excited we have our first house showing today! Not sure what the guy's intentions are, he didn't really say, but I'm just praying he doesn't try to come in here and low ball us........although he can low ball away because we won't take it! I feel like the house cleaning Nazi, that's all I've done the past week!!! If this guy isn't a go then we will have to go ahead and buy an MLS #. Not something I'd love to do, but people keep taking down our directional signs, apparently it's against the law to leave them up during the week. Who knew??? So the people who are driving by are just people in this neighborhood.

Remember in Middle school when you first learned all about Pig Latin? Where you take the first letter off the word and put it on the end with an "a"..........for example: "Oda NowKa Igpa AtinLa?".........Do you know pig latin?? And it became the utmost secret language to fool your friends, until they learned it too. Remember? Ok, good! Well, Kennedy has developed her OWN version of this, and it's been CRAKIN me up lately! Apparently she believes that she must speak to me in CODE to understand her!

"Mommy You taka my shoes off?"
"Mommy, I knowa like dat"
"Mommy, you tired? You sucka your thumb?" (that one about made me roll over!)
"Mommy, I knowa goa to beda!!"

It's really becoming quite bad because I find myself thinking like her .........and ya'll.........I ACTUALLY TOLD TAYLOR TO "SHUSH" yesterday!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! I about DIED when I said it!! Of course I apologized immediately, I don't know where it came from! And you should've seen the look on Taylor's face when I said it!! That Kennedy.......she is a bad example around here!

Well, today I'm off to do Muffin's with Mom. This is such a sweet thing my girl's school does each year. Hope is so excited, the girl can't keep a secret to save her life, so I'm very anxious to see what she has made!! =) Last night I had my last class with my kindergartner's at church. I was a little sad to see them go, but I'm really glad it's summer break! They get a little wild this time of year! But I've so enjoyed watching them grow in Christ! Plus it's been a good bonding time for me and Hope. That poor girl, she never get's me to herself!

I'm really, REALLY excited about this summer bible study coming up!! I've been working through the materials and it's going to be awesome! It's not all fun and sweet candy, but it's definitely something that digs down into your soul.......deep. Ok, well ya'll have a blessed day! I know this was a very random post, sorry.
