My HopeAnn is learning to read and she has started with the Dick and Jane series just like Taylor did, she's doing very well. But as I was driving to church last night this phrase came to my mind, in the Dick and Jane book it says, "Funny, Funny, Baby." Well, "Funny, Funny, God!"
I got into the car yesterday afternoon with a message on my cell phone.......guess from who??? That JERK from that interview I went on the other day, offering me the position..........NO THANK YOU!! I thought to myself, "Lord, you REALLY have a sense of humor!!" So, needless to say, I didn't accept and will not accept that position. I can't imagine if that was the interview process what it's like to work for someone like that!! Funny, Funny God. =)
Yesterday was an exhaustive day....lot's going on and lot's to think about. I'm so glad today is a new day, a fresh start and a good day! I am still waiting in expectation, but He is working.....slowly, never fast with me! Thanks for all of you who took the time to answer my question, I SO enjoyed reading all your comments and perspectives......it was great!! Well, gotta run, busy day! HA, I KNEW it!!! Something in my gut told me you'd get that job even without the benefit of a decent interview! That's too funny. I'm glad you're going with your gut and turning it down, though. God has obviously got great plans for you and I admire you for wanting to free yourself up for His direction.
