Well.......

Well, it doesn't seem to appear that we are moving in tomorrow!!! We had a countertops crisis, electrical mess, paint everywhere and bathrooms not cleaned yet day, Kennedy decided to take my cell phone out of my purse at Lowe's and I didn't see it, so I spent a good bit of time retracking my steps from Home Depot to Lowe's to recover it........so about 2pm I, yes I, made the executive decision.....oh Lord forgive me for not being submissive today!! =) We are not ready to move in, the house is not even safe right now......wires hanging out everywhere....paint stuck to the floor that I've been scrapping for the last three hours.....the list goes on and on. So, I called my mom and asked her if it was ok for us to stay one more week......Of course she doesn't mind, in fact my dad told me yesterday to not be stressed out about being outta here. I just was thinking it would be great for them to come back from vacation to their "normal" lives....although what is normal anymore??

So, the kitchen will have countertops on Tuesday......sweet Lord willing. We had to have the special ordered which ended up being better b/c they will cut them exactly to the right size so all Kris will have to do is cut the sink hole out. The walls have paint.....I know you are sitting on your edge.....did I choose red or cream??? Cream it is. I know.....boring. BUT, I read this article how in a small kitchen everything should blend, it makes it look bigger, I guess it works, to late now! The girl's room is almost done except for the trim........it is, how shall I say??? VERY BRIGHT!!! =0 Hopefully when I do the polka dots on the walls it will tone that color down a bit. Kennyboo........no paint, I was busy scrapping paint of the floor in the kitchen all day. WHAT A MESS!!! But, it's really starting to feel at home. I was thinking a lot as I was scrapping those floors, and I started to be THANKFUL that I have floors to scrape!! And they are OUR floors!! WHOO HOO!!!

Ok, so life has calmed down for tonight. I'm still exhausted and yes, there is still a HUGE to do list tomorrow but thankfully Kris is off and my mil took the girl's tonight, so I'm off to bed to get a few hours of sleep and then to be up and at em in the morning.
