Hormones or oppression?

Now I bet that title got your attention! I have a friend who I shall keep her name a secret but she's gonna know I'm talking about her, so don't be mad! =) This friend has had a rough time over the past few years with her hormones. She has tried medicine and therapy but has just had a hard time overcoming some issues in her life. I think though there has to come a point where each of us as women have to say, Ok, yes it sucks to have pms every month but am I letting Satan get a stronghold over my emotions and/or hormones? I firmly believe that Satan was using me after my second daughter Hope was born. He was leading me to believe all kinds of lies through my "hormones". Now, I'm not saying that we don't have the right to feel yucky around that time of the month or after the birth of a child, but I do believe that God even cares about that. Even though He's a man, He's the perfect man, so unlike our men, He understands, after all He created us! Bottom line, I think this "friend" needs to turn it over the the Lord, He's going to heal her and make her whole again, no drug or therapy can do that. We can't let Satan win, even over our hormones!!

Well, it's Wednesday and I don't know where this week has gone already, time just keeps slipping past me. I haven't stopped my study in Jeremiah I just haven't figured out enough to post my thoughts yet, it's very deep. God seems very harsh in this book of the bible. The biggest thing that I've just begun to notice is how God in the Old Testament was very firm and seemed harsh at times. But Jesus, his son, is so soft and loving and kind. It kida reminds me of my dad when I was a kid, I thought he was so mean and just always punished me for everything. But now I see him as a grandfather and he's just a big softy. Who knows where this is going? Only God!
