And the Winner is.....

Here are your random numbers:17

That would be Cindy!!! Yay!! I'm so excited for her! Please remember to pray for Cindy to as she is battling Breast Cancer and has three precious girls!! Cindy, I'll get it in the mail asap. Love ya girl!

Life has been busy! As you may have noticed from my lack of blogging this week.

First, exciting news, I have a new nephew, his name is Asher. I would post his pic but I'd better ask his momma and daddy first. =) He's really cute! Congratulations Mike and Jenny!

Secondly, I got a new job! I KNOW.......how many times have I said on this blog someone slap me silly if I try to work again!! But, I think this was a God-thing since it basically dropped in my lap thanks to my friend Val.

I am going to be the pre-school music teacher! This is a good thing for both Kennedy and I. I have to tell y'all she is L-O-S-T without her Hopie here all day too. I mean, we've stayed busy but staying busy costs money. =) And, Every five to ten minutes she's asking me, "We go get her from gool?" (gool=school)

So I will start the first week in October and I'm very excited. It will be four days a week and Kennedy will go to our church's Mother's morning out program. SHE will be excited to be with all her buddies. It's only from 9-1 so at least it's not all day!

I'm nervous, this is definitely out of my "zone". I've never done anything like this but I love kids and I love music so, it should be fun. Hopie has been "informing" me of all my duties to come. She loved the music teacher last year! So I have big shoes to fill!! Thanks GOODNESS I don't have to sing in front of grown-ups. LORD HAVE MERCY if I did. =) It would totally be like Milli Vanilli all over again!!

Speak? Yes! Sing? NO!

Our mom's group GEMS is going well, I'm enjoying putting together the next craft. And you will love to win it too!! And if you live in the Charlotte area you should just COME! =) I only have two weeks from the time I get the money to the time I have to turn in receipts so it's a lot of running around getting prices, ideas and buying stuff. But I'm enjoying it!

Our house is back on the market, with a realtor this time. He proved so badly he wanted to sell our house. He actually showed it three times when it was for sale by owner and called us once a week to see how things were going. So we thought what's the hurt in giving it a try?

He made us downsize our furniture and do a lot of packing up stuff. I think it does help, although we've only had one showing this week. Their comments were: "It's to small".

DUH people.

Ugh.

Open house is on Sunday so if you want to come buy it, I'll make you a REAL GOOD DEAL. =)

Taylor's birthday party is tonight, we are having a sleep over. In our itty bitty house! Pray for ME. =) hee hee! I think I'm more excited than she is. I LOVE this kinda stuff. I can't believe my girly is going to be 8.

Hopie's doing great with soccer! I will have to post some pictures soon. I'm sorry, I've been slack in the picture area lately. She's also loving kindergarten! She is doing well recovering and we should go back in about 5 weeks to see how things are going on the inside. I'm still a little nervous about things, but totally trusting the Lord to keep healing her body!

AND, she's lost her very first tooth. (picture to come) And, can you believe that the tooth fairy forgot to come?? OH my goodness. We need to get a new fairy around this house, this is the THIRD time she has forgotten about us! I mean what is up with this girl?? We just can't figure it out why she keeps doing this? Maybe you have thoughts for my Hopie on this one. =)

Kennyboo continues to "attempt" to potty. It's partially my fault, I'm not consistent enough to let her run around bare bottom to get this thing done! After all, I don't think they'd appreciate that at Target, Hobby Lobby or the Grocery Store. =)

She DOES consistently tell me: "Dat potty not work for me."

Oh well. We'll get there eventually.

Ok, well, all the updating I can think of for the moment! I see a lot of you are starting to TWITTER. I'm not sure about it yet. Still thinking it through. And do you really want to know what I'm doing all day? I assure you it's not exciting. =)

I hope you ALL have a great weekend!

Be blessed!

Your job sounds like a perfect fit with your ministry call. You will be wonderful with the children. I found I did better at home if I had some regular activity that kept me on a schedule besides the little ones. I am a people person and I need interaction with adults. You will be wonderful with the children and you will have the relationships with the other teachers. For all 3 girls and you this sounds like a good thing.

Nicki, what a fun start to my day! I loved reading about all your happenings. I'm just sitting here smiling thinking of all that's going on in and around your family. So glad the Lord is working in all of your lives. I first started visiting here when you were in need of prayer for your little girls, and it's just so thrilling now to read how well you are all doing - God is so good!

Have a blessed weekend,
Joy

Congrats to the winner!
There is a bunch of stuff here that I could comment on. ;)
Having been with you for awhile....I will hold my comments on the job--I know the kids will love you. :)

I know with all the crazy stuff going on in the market it might cause you a little concern with selling your home....but He can handle it. If and when it is to sell...it will...regardless of that persistent Realtor.:)

Looking forward to seeing the next project.

Sounds like you have been busy. I do bet Kennedy is lost without Hope. It's great that she looks up to her so much!
