Let's do this God!

This morning, I am up and ready to go! The Lord has just laid a breath of fresh air upon my skin and I'm not letting anyone or anything steal my joy this morning!!

I feel like for the past few days I've just been in the "spin" cycle of the wash! We have been go, go, go! I don't like go, go, go! And my head feels like it's been spinning!!! So, my house shows for it this morning and most of my day will be spent cleaning it, but that's ok......even that's not stealing my joy this morning!! =)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6

I'm coming back to Exodus, but this morning, I just needed to stand upon God's promises and be washed in breaths of fresh air! And that is what this verse does for me. It continually reminds me that my job is to trust, not in man, but in Him. And not just a little bit, but with all of my heart!

As I read my God Calling book this morning, it also touched my heart in a real and powerful way. The title, "You will Conquer". God never changes, he doesn't "grow with society", keep up with the Jones's or go through the latest fads with us! He stays the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. And when we go through times of uncertainty, this is where we stand on the solid ground, knowing that He will not change! Our circumstances may change, our lives may change, but He never, ever, ever changes!

My friend Leigh, left something in the comments on one of my last posts, that stuck with me more than she knows! She said this, "I have found that sometimes God does not give a definite yes or no - that is faith. you walk it out with a heart pure to please Him. Even if you totally miss the boat He is still honored for your obedience and trying to walk the thing out. He knows - it is more about knowing Him than knowing what to do".

So as I stand on my path today, not sure what is ahead, lot's to be excited about, but also LOT'S to trust HIM to lead about..........I will stand on the promise that to know Him in a real and passionate way is where I am this morning. When we are seeking out the Lord's will, we've got to be so careful to not get caught up with everyone's opinion. It's easy to be swayed one way or the other, and I'm definitely a "seeker of opinions" person! But in reality, my heart's obedience is tied to one person, The Lord.

So Lord, I'm ready! Let's do this! Let's conquer BIG things today! Let's walk BIG steps!
