Peace and Quiet At last

Oh how I love nap time, even though it get shorter and shorter these days I still enjoy my few moments of peace. Although Taylor isn't napping she's watching TV. I feel like she's watching way to much TV this summer. But what am I to do? During the school year she hardly ever watched TV, she was entirely to busy. I'm glad that I haven't overpacked her summer this year. Even though it's been hard to keep her busy this summer I think she needed a good break. It's going to be very hard to get back in the swing of things once school starts. I'm so excited that Hope is going to preschool this year. It will be a nice break for me and I know she will just love it. Hopefully I will be able to get things done around here. Housework just NEVER seems to end. A friend of mine told me about a website called FLYlady. She's got great advice and tips, you just have to do them. We do use her 15 min timer rule almost daily. The girls even enjoy seeing how much they can accomplish in 15 minutes. It really is amazing what you can do in just 15 minutes. I started a project in our foyer. I'm stencling a diamond shaped pattern all over the top. I really like it so far but it is very time consuming. The only thing I really don't like about this house is that EVERYTHING is white or "cream". But on the other hand it's like a blank slate. I've got so many ideas, I just need a ton of time and a ton of money. Poor Kennedy she's got her first fever today. It's 101, not to high but I feel so bad for her. I'm not sure if it's from the teething or if maybe she's getting her first cold. She's been so healthy so far, so different from Hope as a baby. We were always at the Dr.'s for something with her. Well, my sweet neighbor Martha told me yesterday that Taylor acts spoiled. Oh how honest she can be.............I never really thought about Taylor acting that way but maybe she is right. But how do you change that? I don't buy her lot's of things and she isn't constantly being rewarded for everything she does. I think of Taylor as intense, but maybe spoiled is the word. I don't know. Well, I guess I should go so I can get some more things around here done. Have a great day, whoever reads this, if anyone. =)
