I wonder if I'm ever going to get out of this fog that I've been in the past few days. These girls are just draining me. I didn't realize how tough summer was going to be. Why is it that my oldest Taylor just can't do ANYTHING alone??? She has to have constant companionship. When she's by herself she just can't find anything to do. I guess it's just part of being the firstborn. Last night I noticed a sly side of Taylor. Her and Hope are always "pretending" to be someone else. Hope will say, Tend I'm a mommy, (tend=pretend in hope lingo) Or Taylor will say Pretend I'm a teenager, that's her latest thing she wants to be, oh my!! So last night we were outside and the girls were playing with the scooter which is technically Hope's but they have to share everything. Well Hope decided that she wanted it so I told Taylor to let her have a turn. This did NOT please Taylor. So Hope's riding and having a good ol time well all the sudden I hear this quite voice say to Hope, "Pretend I was this little girl and you rode by me and I was sad so you gave me your scooter." I "pretended" that I didn't hear her say that, well sure enough HOPE GAVE IN!!! Ugh...........where is your back bone little girl??? =) That sneaky Taylor, she gets her everytime!!! It will be so interesting to see if Hope will be this way with Kennedy. My little babe's teeth are hurting so bad. They aren't breaking through yet but you can see them popping up on the bottom. It's amazing the change that they have when they go through this. But she is still so sweet. I've started reading online about Baby Sign Language. It's all very interesting and I'm going to try it this time with Kennedy. I've started with Mommy (of course) and eat. She just looks at me like I'm crazy when I sign to her and then she gives me the sweetest toothlesss grin that just says, Whatever you say Mommy. Taylor said the funniest thing the other day. I was holding Kennedy and she spit up everywhere like she always does, and I asked Taylor to get a paper towel and she reluctantly said ok, then she walks over to me and says, Um.........we need to teach this baby how to sign SPIT UP so we'll know when she's going to. And then she looked at Kennedy and pointed to her mouth and said, SPIT UP, SPIT UP, while pointing to her mouth in the same tones that I had been teaching her Mommy and Eat. I just thought that was so funny. Well gotta run More later.........
